This work is about more than “fixing problems.” It’s about uncovering what’s beneath, building resilience, and reclaiming agency. Together, we can:
-
Explore your thoughts, emotions, and patterns
-
Understand how ADHD, trauma, or addiction may show up in your daily life
-
Develop practical tools and coping strategies
-
Heal self-criticism, shame, or stuckness
-
Strengthen self-awareness and confidence
-
whether it’s overcoming challenges, building resilience, or improving relationships.

We know addiction rarely shows up in isolation. Many clients also carry trauma, ADHD, anxiety, or depression. That’s why our approach is integrative and holistic. We draw on methods like CBT, mindfulness, and EMDR, and always work from a trauma-informed lens to centre your experience. We will always move at your pace, never ahead of it.
In therapy, we’ll:
-
Explore the roots of your addictive patterns and unmet needs
-
Develop healthier coping skills and emotional regulation
-
Build routines, boundaries, and supports aligned with your values
-
Address shame, guilt, or self-criticism, not to erase them, but to learn from them
-
Support you in relapse, if it happens, as part of the journey

ADHD isn’t just about distraction. It can affect your focus, motivation, emotions, and relationships. Many adults describe feeling scattered, frustrated, or misunderstood, even after years of “trying harder.”
In counselling, we’ll work together to:
-
Identify your unique ADHD patterns and strengths
-
Learn tools for focus, organization, and follow-through
-
Build skills to manage emotional ups and downs
-
Reduce shame and self-criticism that often come with ADHD
-
Strengthen communication and relationships

Trauma is your nervous system’s way of protecting you. Over time, those protections can start to feel like barriers, but with the right support, you can find new ways to feel safe.
Together, we’ll work to:
-
Build safety and grounding strategies for the present
-
Process memories and emotions in a way that feels manageable
-
Understand how trauma impacts relationships, work, and daily life
-
Reduce shame and self-blame that often linger long after the event
-
Strengthen your sense of self, resilience, and capacity for connection

Counselling provides a safe space to explore challenges, understand underlying patterns, and practice new ways of relating. In therapy, you and your partner can:
-
Improve communication and listening skills
-
Rebuild trust after conflict, stress, or betrayal
-
Understand how trauma, ADHD, or addiction may impact your relationship
-
Learn strategies for setting boundaries and respecting each other’s needs
-
Strengthen emotional and physical intimacy
