Understanding Virtual Therapy

Virtual therapy is real therapy, delivered through a secure video platform so you can access meaningful mental health support from anywhere. Whether you are at home, in your office, or anywhere private, sessions are confidential, evidence-based, and just as effective as in-person care.

For many people, removing the friction of travel, waiting rooms, and rigid scheduling is not just convenient. It is the difference between getting help and not getting help at all. Virtual therapy lowers the barrier to showing up, so you can focus on the part that actually matters: the work.

How Virtual Therapy Can Help

Life does not pause for office hours. Virtual therapy gives you a consistent, private space to do the work without rearranging your life around it.

  • Adults managing addiction, trauma, or ADHD

  • Professionals running on empty

  • Men ready to stop pushing through it alone

  • Couples who need a new way forward

  • People navigating concurrent disorders

Our Approach to Virtual Therapy

Our Registered Clinical Counsellors each hold Master's degrees and are registered with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Our approach is direct and grounded. We will not dance around what is getting in your way.

  • Evidence-based approaches tailored to your situation

  • Focused expertise in addiction, trauma, ADHD, concurrent disorders, and men's mental health

  • A shame-free, judgment-free space where you set the pace

What to Expect in Virtual Therapy

  • A straightforward start. Your first session is a real conversation: where you are, what is not working, and what you want to change.

  • Consistency without the commute. 50-minute sessions, scheduled regularly, on your time.

  • A secure, private space. Sessions run through Jane App and Zoom Workplace Pro, in line with BC privacy standards under PIPA.

  • Tailored to you, not a template. Your therapist draws from evidence-based approaches, including CBT and trauma-informed care, based on what fits your situation.

  • Momentum between sessions. You will leave each session with something to work with: clarity, a reflection prompt, or a practical next step.

You don’t have to keep carrying the past on your own. With the right support, it’s possible to feel more grounded, safe, and connected in the present.
